This is a seriously fascinating book about family immigrating from Mexico in the early part of the last century. It made me laugh, cry and think of my own family and their journeys to America many years ago, from Europe. I first read this book over 20 years ago after I heard Terry Gross on Fresh Air interview the author Victor Villasenor.
